HOUSE SUPERVISOR – PM SHIFT
The RN House Supervisor manages hospital staff in all areas of the hospital. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care. Coordinates patient admissions and transfers for patients. Ensures optimum productivity, quality care and the satisfaction of the patient. Coordinates with all units and departments to ensure efficiency and harmony. Assists in staff scheduling, quality improvement and evaluations as needed. They use independent judgement to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources and must be flexible with duty hours.

THERAPY TECHNICIAN
Assists therapists with patient modalities and exercise. The Therapy Technician also sets up the therapy room by having supplies and equipment available to the therapist for use during the therapy session. The Therapy Technician must follow required guidelines while maintaining the Hospital’s excellent reputation and customer satisfaction. The Therapy Tech may also be responsible for assisting in the care of patient under the direction of a Therapist, RN and/or LPN in the inpatient rehabilitation setting. They perform direct and indirect patient care activities according to established policies and procedures, observe and reports changes in patient conditions, and maintain a safe and clean patient and environment.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)
Is responsible for the accounting systems for accounts payable and the general accounting process of disbursement of checks.

DIETETIC TECHNICIAN
Responsible for rounding on patients, do some diet education, interview new hospital admits to get likes, dislikes and clarify allergies. This person will also assist with collecting PI data. Will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Dietitian. One-year experience in hospital food service or a student in a current dietetic program preferred. Working computer knowledge/skills. One-year experience in clinical nutrition or a student in a current dietetic program preferred. Desirable characteristics include previous include previous clinical nutrition experience. To be self-motivated and be able to reason and make good judgment calls.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Provides individualized therapy services including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education and communication to maximize a patient’s progress toward achieving functional goals. Evaluates functional
2 needs and developments, and consult with other specialists. Adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Education requirements met before obtaining Licensure thru the State of Louisiana Physical Therapy Board.
Experience: One year of Physical Therapist experience in a healthcare environment. Licenses/Certificates: * Current Physical Therapist license verified thru Louisiana Physical Therapy Board. BLS/CPR certification renewed by the recommended renewal date. American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY

DIRECTOR, PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES
The Director, Patient Financial Services supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in calculating, posting and verifying data to obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records. Compiles composite reports from individual reports of subordinates required by management of Government agencies. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites work flow. Experienced OR Circulators – PRE-OP/PACU POSITIONS OPEN! Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan of patients within the Surgical Services Department. Performs a focused assessment of the patient and monitors procedures in the operating room during surgery. Maintains sterility, safety and organization of the surgeon and the patient to ensure the best outcome. CENTRAL STERILE TECHNICIAN
Prepares, sterilizes all instruments and surgical trays for the Surgical Services Department. Prepares, inspects, and assembles surgical instruments, equipment, trays, or packages of items for sterilization. Collects, cleans, and disinfects patient care equipment and surgical instruments. Inventories carts
and replenishes supplies as needed. The ORT works under the direct supervision of the surgery supervisor, director and/or surgical services RN.

REGISTERED NURSES – ICU – PM Shift
Provides patient care in the critical setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in a patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. REGISTERED NURSES – MED/SURG
Assess, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan of patients within the skilled nursing setting. equipment in the area of specialization, evaluates the validity of laboratory data, records last results, communicates with physician, pathologists and nursing staff regarding test 4 procedures and results. MSO BILLER – CERTIFIED BILLER/CODER PREFERRED*
Responsible for organizing and maintaining patient health information in both electronic and hard copies. Uses a coding system to sort and maintain patient medical data and history of treatment for various uses such as insurance reimbursement, and including in databases and registries. Accuracy is essential in these functions. Coding must be exact for billing and classification systems. Ensures health information is accessible but also secure from unnecessary access.

CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Dr. Landrum’s Office – Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by physician in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records and scheduling appointments. Works under the guidance and supervision of a LPN, RN or Physician.

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHS
responsible for cleaning and removing medical and non-medical waste from patient and non-patient care areas, as assigned throughout the hospital. Responsible for cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture throughout the hospital. Disinfects area in the cleaning process including patient and on-patient care areas. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies and replaces expendable supplies and monitors PAR level of supplies. Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment as applicable.

RURAL HEALTH CLINIC – OFFICE COORDINATOR
answers the phone, greets patients, collects and post payments, makes appointments, copies and files medical records and information as needed. Knowledgeable of contracted insurance plans and procedures. Assigns accurate codes for each diagnosis and procedure using appropriate coding references CPT and ICD codes according to service provided. Screens each patient taking vital signs, history and symptoms prior to doctor entering exam room as needed. (works 7 days on – 7 days off (Thursday – Wednesday 7AM – 7PM except Sunday – 7A – 3P)

RURAL HEALTH CLINIC – LPN or CMA – DERIDDER CLINIC

Need thorough knowledge of blood collection to determine which type of collection technique is appropriate for each test collected. Responsible for correct labeling and handling of each specimen collected.

Radiology Tech
Responsible for performing radiological examinations are required by staff physician’s orders and under the direction of the Radiologist. Performs various types of diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjusts x-ray equipment, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patients. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations. Identifies, interviews, screens and explains procedures to patient. Prepares equipment and supplies. Checks, recalibrates and tests calibrating equipment.

Maintains a thorough knowledge of ICD 10-CM and CPT coding Principles and Guidelines, Coding Clinic Guidelines and Coding Compliance. Possess an extensive knowledge of disease processes, CMS-DRG, and APC Classification and reimbursement structures applicable to coding edits and general knowledge of Local Coverage Decisions as it relates to coding and billing. Possess strong organizational skills; interpersonal and customer service skills, written and oral communication skills, and analytical skills and ability to work independently. Has experience with encoder technology, computerized abstracting systems, and electronic medical record systems and proficient in Microsoft Office; especially Excel. Maintains knowledge of HIPAA recognizing a commitment to privacy, security and confidentiality of all medical chart documentation.

Documents patient’s medical history, condition, and prescribed course of treatment. Advises patient on home care and follow-up care. The ER Director may assign to serve as RN Preceptor for the unit.

Medical Technologist – MT/MLT

HIM SUPERVISOR
Ensures the regulatory compliance and effective overall operation of the Health Information Management department. Will assist the HIM Director with all facets of the HIM department operations and work under the supervision of the HIM Director. The HIM Supervisor provides training and supervises HIM Coding and other HIM/ROI staff as needed.

CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECH (Part-Time)
Certified Pharmacy Tech is responsible for assisting in performing the routine duties in the hospital pharmacy. The Certified Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a Louisiana Licensed Pharmacist and may not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a Louisiana Licensed Pharmacist. They will assist in providing pharmaceutical services that meets the needs of the patient.

COMPUTER SUPPORT SPECIALIST
The Computer Support Specialist provides technical support, troubleshoots and resolves urgent technical issues, responds to help requests in person and by phone and provide end-user computer related support services to the hospital user community. Identifies and escalates complex issues to management. Installs and repairs computer hardware and software, cleans computers, and runs diagnostic programs. Monitors and maintains the organizational computer system’s daily performance.

ADMITTING/CENTRAL SCHEDULING SUPERVISOR
Responsible for supervising all staff in the Admitting and Central Scheduling Department. They assign and check work of staff to ensure smooth operations and prompt, courteous services. They maintain efficient and orderly admission of patients and procedures. They support open communication with the Nursing Supervisors and the Director, Patient Financial Services. Acts as a liaison between physician’s offices and hospital facility for scheduling purposes to include, but is not limited to all surgeries, laboratory, radiology and cardiopulmonary procedures. Responsible for scheduling of procedures, creating pre-admission paperwork, verifying insurance, determining insurance benefits, obtaining required authorizations and notifying patients of their financial responsibilities. Provides personal and financial counseling services and gathers patient information for in-patients, out-patients and emergency room patients in the functional areas of admissions, discharges, payment planning insurance verification and emergency room treatment records.

DIRECTOR, ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Responsible for the environmental services staff and the overall cleanliness of all areas of the hospital. Supervises staff t ensure clean, orderly and attractive conditions in the hospital. Ensures compliance with local, state and federal environment, health and safety regulations. Monitors infection control and medical waste management practices as they relate to the environment of care. Responsible for staff training. Oversees the environmental services daily responsibilities are met by the staff. Ensures PAR level of linen, supplies and cleaning chemicals are replenished and equipment is properly maintained. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Directs the hospital’s financial planning and accounting practices. Oversees and directs budgeting, audit, tax, accounting and insurance activities for the hospital. Oversees and directs budgeting, audit, tax, accounting and insurance activities for the hospital. Directs Accounting staff in providing and directing procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services. Appraises the organization’s financial position and issues periodic financial and operating reports. Analyzes, consolidates and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports. Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business.

PATIENT ADVOCATE
Emergency Department – PRN – Performs direct and indirect patient care activities according to established policies/procedures. Acts as the unit’s receptionist, answers patient and visitor inquiries within the scope of the job description. Supervised by the RNs and Director of the ED.

THERAPY TECHNICIAN -FT
The Therapy Technician assists therapists with patient modalities and exercise; sets up the therapy room by having supplies and equipment available to the therapist for use during the therapy session; assists therapists by monitoring documentation of patients’ therapy time and charges.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY
Assistant Director of Pharmacy position for someone with aspirations to train for and move into a Director of Pharmacy position. Important Qualifications and Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Louisiana
Two years’ hospital experience preferred
Management and/or supervisory experience a plus
Must move to or live within a 30-minute drive of Leesville
Be willing to take after hours’ call

DIRECTOR, PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES
The Director, Patient Financial Services supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in calculating, posting and verifying data to obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records. Compiles composite reports from individual reports of subordinates required by management of Government agencies. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites work flow. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conform ace to policies and procedures.

REGISTERED NURSES – OR CIRCULATORS – SURGICAL SERVICES
Experienced OR Circulators – PRE-OP/PACU POSITIONS OPEN! Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan of patients within the Surgical Services Department. Performs a focused assessment of the patient and monitors procedures in the operating room during surgery. Maintains sterility, safety and organization of the surgeon and the patient to ensure the best outcome. Ensures nursing services are delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards, medical plan of care and policies. Must have a wide range of skills to accommodate a variety of surgery specialties. Must meet the patient’s need through collaboration with the healthcare team. Surgical Services Director may assign to serve as RN Preceptor for the unit.

CENTRAL STERILE TECHNICIAN
Prepares, sterilizes all instruments and surgical trays for the Surgical Services Department. Prepares, inspects, and assembles surgical instruments, equipment, trays, or packages of items for sterilization. Collects, cleans, and disinfects patient care equipment and surgical instruments. Inventories carts and replenishes supplies as needed. The ORT works under the direct supervision of the surgery supervisor, director and/or surgical services RN.

REGISTERED NURSES – ICU – PM Shift
Provides patient care in the critical setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in a patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Able to perform general nursing duties with little supervision.

REGISTERED NURSES – MED/SURG
Assess, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan of patients within the skilled nursing setting. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by LPNs, C.N.A.s/Nursing Assistants and other supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching as applicable. Med/Surg Director may assign to serve as RN Preceptor for the unit. – Sign On Bonus Available – Including New Grads

REGISTERED NURSES – MATERNAL/CHILD SERVICES
Provides care to patients antepartum, intrapartum, intrapartum and postpartum. Closely monitors baby’s heart rate and mother’s vital signs, as well as strength and timing of contractions. Works with other health care providers to determine and implement the patient’s care plan and assists with complications administers medication. Can assist in the operating room during a cesarean section. Prepares the mother and family for labor and newborn and provides emotional support. Helps the mother with breastfeeding after birth. Maternal/Child Director may assign to serve as RN Preceptor for the unit.

NURSING ASSISTANTS – (Certified Preferred)
Responsible for assisting in the care of patient under the direction of a RN or LPN. Performs custodial tasks and assists with nursing duties in caring for patients in an acute care setting. Performs direct and indirect patient care activities according to established policies and environment. Med/Surg Director may assign to serve as C.N.A./Unit Secretary Preceptor for the unit.

RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
Administers respiratory therapy and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of cardiopulmonary system. Performs diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physician in diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders. Routinely performs basic modalities of respiratory therapy for patients requiring non-critical care. Initiates and performs specialized and advanced respiratory therapy services to critically ill patients under clinical guidance.

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – MT/MLT
Responsible for the completion of the routine workload in the specimen processing and testing areas according to established laboratory policies/procedures, the exact nature of the work may vary depending upon the workload and the assigned duties. Operates and calibrates all equipment in the area of specialization, evaluates the validity of laboratory data, records last results, communicates with physician, pathologists and nursing staff regarding test procedures and results. This position may have shift supervisory responsibilities and works under the direction of the Director, Technical Supervisor of Laboratory Services.

DIETARY AIDE
Performs a variety of food preparation duties such a preparing, assembling and delivering trays. Cleans and sanitizes kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils.

MSO BILLER – CERTIFIED BILLER/CODER PREFERRED*
Responsible for organizing and maintaining patient health information in both electronic and hard copies. Uses a coding system to sort and maintain patient medical data and history of treatment for various uses such as insurance reimbursement, and including in databases and registries. Accuracy is essential in these functions. Coding must be exact for billing and classification systems. Ensures health information is accessible but also secure from unnecessary access.

CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Dr. Landrum’s Office – Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by physician in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records and scheduling appointments. Works under the guidance and supervision of a LPN, RN or Physician

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHS
Responsible for cleaning and removing medical and non-medical waste from patient and non-patient care areas, as assigned throughout the hospital. Responsible for cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture throughout the hospital. Disinfects area in the cleaning process including patient and on-patient care

areas. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies and replaces expendable supplies and monitors PAR level of supplies. Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment as applicable.

FLOOR TECH
Responsible for all tile floors care, baseboards, stairwells, corners and carpeted areas of the hospital. Perform stripping, waxing and buffing of floors and shampooing carpet as needed. Removes medical and non-medical waste from patient and non-patient care areas, as assigned throughout the hospital. Assist in cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture throughout the hospital. Disinfects surfaces and areas in the cleaning process including patient and on-patient care areas. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies and monitors PAR level of supplies. Cleans and maintains equipment as applicable.

RURAL HEALTH CLINIC – OFFICE COORDINATOR
Answers the phone, greets patients, collects and post payments, makes appointments, copies and files medical records and information as needed. Knowledgeable of contracted insurance plans and procedures. Assigns accurate codes for each diagnosis and procedure using appropriate coding references CPT and ICD codes according to service provided. Screens each patient taking vital signs, history and symptoms prior to doctor entering exam room as needed. (works 7 days on – 7 days off (Thursday – Wednesday 7AM – 7PM except Sunday – 7A – 3P)

RURAL HEALTH CLINIC – LPN or CMA
DERIDDER CLINIC – (works 7 days on and 7 days off – (Thursday – Wednesday 7AM – 7PM except Sunday 7AM – 3 PM) collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by physician in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records and scheduling appointments. Works under the guidance and supervision of a Physician.
